OUR MISSION |
|
Our organization was formed to promote the humane
treatment of unwanted, stray and abandoned animals.
O.C. Animal League, Inc., is a 501(3) non-profit corporation. It's main function
is to rescue these animals and provide them with a safe haven until loving,
adoptive homes can be found for them.
- We are a shelter alternative. We rescue animals, provide them with necessary
medical care and foster them in private homes.
- All of our members are volunteers. We have no paid employees.
- We endeavor to promote a healthy, happy relationship between people and their
newly adopted pets.
|
- We believe in the quality of life. All animals we take in will be provided the
attention needed to prepare them for what we hope is a safe, healthy and happy
existence for the remainder of their lives.
- We are not supported by taxes. We do not receive any Federal, State or City
funds for support.
- As we must raise our own financial support, all funding for our organization
comes from private and public donations and fund-raising programs.
